It's Halloween! To celebrate I did a quick illustration of a family favorite; The Fat Slow Pumpkin.
Fat slow pumpkin?! Yes, you heard me right! The Fat Slow Pumpkin was a short story I drew up when I was about seven years old. The short story which I conjured up around Halloween time was about a happy-go-lucky pumpkin looking for a friend. He managed to befriend a scarecrow who later saves him from uncoming traffic. Because, after all, he was too fat and slow too get away from the car alone! This story was held onto over the years and became a fun tale to recollect on in the fall seasons. It is a comical and quirky reminded of what childhood held. To celebrate Halloween this year, I decided to do a quick illustration of The Fat Slow Pumpkin comparing him to his version from over seventeen years ago.
